MC12093 1.1GHz Prescaler with SOIC to DIL Adapter
MC12093 is a 1.1 GHz prescaler that can be configured to divide input frequency by 2 / 4 / 8. This is extremely useful for frequency counters / meters that have a limit on the upper frequency they can measure. With MC12093 prescaler counters that can measure maximum frequency of 50MHz can measure frequencies up to 500MHz which is very useful for troubleshooting transmitters, oscillators, frequency generators, and other RF related frequency circuits. MC12093 can also be used in PLL transmitters for dividing output FM frequency.
