Super Bright RGB LED (Common Cathode)
Water Clear 5mm Super Bright Common Cathode RGB LED. Can produce many colors using Red, Green & Blue built-in LEDs including super bright White, Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Cyan, Violet, etc. Varying the brightness of each LED can produce many more colors. Cathode is the longest pin. RGB LED comes with a free resistor for connecting to 12V voltage.
The most common way to vary the brightness of LED by PIC / AVR microcontroller is to use pulse width modulation (PWM) method.
