USB IO Board Stick Kit
USB IO Board Stick is a tiny spectacular input / output development board / parallel port replacement that can be used to control many different devices via USB port. It may also be used for data acquisition such as collecting data from sensors, buttons, voltage/current measurements, etc. It plugs right into computer's USB port so no USB cable is required. USB IO Board Stick is based around single PIC18F2550 microcontroller chip that includes 10x 10-bit Analog to Digital Converters (ADC) for precision voltage/current measurements. Controlling USB IO Board Stick is easy. When attached to Windows PC the board will show as RS232 COM serial port. You can control 16 individual microcontroller I/O pins by sending simple serial commands via included software or use included source code to write your own custom C#/VB.NET application. USB IO Board Stick is self-powered by USB port and can provide up to 500mA for your project needs and it is breadboard compatible. Simply solder included 12-PIN & 8-PIN male headers on the bottom side of the PCB and the board can be plugged into a breadboard for quick prototyping. USB IO Board Stick is compatible with Windows 10, 8, 7 (32/64-bit), XP, VISTA, Win2K, Mac OSX and Linux.
