HT12E Holtek Encoder 12-Bit (for RF Remote Control)
HT12 encoders are a series of CMOS LSIs for remote control system applications. They are capable of encoding information which consists of N address bits and 12N data bits. Each address / data input can be set to one of the two logic states. The programmed addresses/data are transmitted together with the header bits via an RF or an infrared transmission medium upon receipt of a trigger signal. The capability to select a TE trigger on the HT12E or a DATA trigger on the HT12A further enhances the application flexibility of the 212 series of encoders. The HT12A additionally provides a 38kHz carrier for infrared systems.

TDA7000 FM Receiver (Parts)
This simple one chip FM receiver / TV tuner will allow you to receive frequencies from 70 up to 120MHz. With this small receiver it is possible to pick up TV stations, entire 88 - 108MHz FM band, aircraft conversation and many other private transmissions. It is a perfect companion to any FM Transmitter especially if FM band in your area is very crowded. TDA7000 receiver offers very good sensitivity therefore it will even allow you to pickup weaker signals that cannot be heard on conventional FM receivers. A neat feature of presented TDA7000 FM receiver is a voltage controlled oscillator similar to TV tuners that are used in television sets. Frequency is tuned by varying the input voltage to the oscillator. The advantage of this type of oscillator is that you can use regular 100K potentiometer to precisely tune to a given broadcast. Tuning can be performed much quicker and precisely than by using a trimmer (variable capacitor). Trimmers will also shift the frequency as you touch them where potentiometer will not. Trimmer also needs to be placed on receiver's PCB to minimize the stray capacitance where potentiometer can be conveniently placed anywhere you want because it will not be affected by any external capacitance.

ESR Meter / Transistor Tester / LC Meter Kit
ESR Meter / Transistor Tester / LC Meter kit is an amazing auto-ranging multimeter that automatically identifies and analyzes components being tested. It measures ESR values, capacitance (100pF - 20,000uF), inductance (10uH - 20H), resistance (0.1 Ohm - 20 MOhm), tests many different types of transistors such as NPN, PNP, FETs, MOSFETs, Thyristors, SCRs, Triacs and many types of diodes. It also analyzes transistor's characteristics such as voltage and gain. It is an irreplaceable tool for troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment by determining performance and health of electrolytic capacitors. Unlike other ESR Meters that only measure ESR value this one measures capacitor's ESR value as well as its capacitance all at the same time.
Electrolytic capacitors are by far the electronic parts that suffer aging soonest. If you have any electronic equipment that over the years has degraded its performance, developed quirks, sometimes ending in complete failure, the chances are good that one or more electrolytic capacitors inside it have degraded, causing the problem. Electrolytic capacitors age in several ways: They can become electrically leaky, causing a DC current through them that can make them blow up. They can shift in capacitance value. But the most common way they degrade, by far, is by unduly increasing their equivalent series resistance, which is the undesired internal resistance that appears in series with the wanted capacitance at a given frequency.

USB Thermometer Kit with Data Logger
USB Thermometer allows to measure temperature in two different locations. Two Microchip MCP9700 temperature sensors in standard TO-92 package are used to sample temperature and allow to measure temperature from -40 to +125 Celsius degrees. Simply connect to a PC computer via standard USB cable and temperature readings will be displayed using included USB Thermometer software. USB Thermometer takes power directly from USB port and does not need external power supply. Temperature readings can be displayed in both Fahrenheit and Celsius degrees.
USB Thermometer software comes with Data Logger feature. Date, time and temperature readings are saved to a text file and can be used to create various graphs via Microsoft Excel or any other statistical software. The software will log temperature every x amount of time which can be set from a second up to a day.

Serial I2C LCD display adapter converts parallel based 16 x 2 character LCD display into a serial i2C LCD that can be controlled through just 2 wires. Adapter uses PCF8574 chip that serves as I/O expander that communicates with Arduino or any other microcontroller by using I2C protocol. A total of 8 LCD displays can be connected to the same two wire I2C bus with each board having a different address. The default i2C address is 0X27 and may be changed to any of the following 0X20~0X27 via soldering A0 A1 A2 pins.

Electrolytic capacitors are by far the electronic parts that suffer aging soonest. If you have any electronic equipment that over the years has degraded its performance, developed quirks, sometimes ending in complete failure, the chances are good that one or more electrolytic capacitors inside it have degraded, causing the problem. Electrolytic capacitors age in several ways: They can become electrically leaky, causing a DC current through them that can make them blow up. They can shift in capacitance value. But the most common way they degrade, by far, is by unduly increasing their equivalent series resistance, which is the undesired internal resistance that appears in series with the wanted capacitance at a given frequency.

EasyDriver Stepper Motor Driver
The EasyDriver is a simple to use bipolar stepper motor driver that supports microstepping. It can be used to control 3-axis CNCs, robots, home appliances, etc. It's compatible with any source that can output a digital 0 to 5V pulse (or 0 to 3.3V pulse if you solder 3/5V pads). Board is powered by 7V to 30V supply to power stepper motors with any voltage. It has an on board voltage regulator for the digital interface that can be set to 5V or 3.3V. Connect a 4-wire stepper motor and a microcontroller and you've got a precision motor control. EasyDriver drives bipolar motors, and motors wired as bipolar. I.e. 4, 6, or 8 wire stepper motors.
This is the newest version of EasyDriver V4.4. It provides much more flexibility and control over your stepper motor, when compared to older versions. The microstep select (MS1 and MS2) pins of the A3967 are broken out allowing adjustments to the microstepping resolution. The sleep and enable pins are also broken out for further control.
Note: Do not connect or disconnect a motor while the driver is energized. This may cause permanent damage to the A3967 IC.

MCP9700 Temperature Sensor
The MCP9700 Linear Active Thermistor Intergrated Circuit (IC) is an analog temperature sensor that converts temperature to analog voltage. It's a low-cost, low-power sensor with an accuracy of +/-2 degrees Celsius from -40 degrees Celsius to +125 degrees Celsius while consuming only 6 μA of operating current.
Unlike resistive sensors (such as thermistors), the Linear Active Thermistor IC does not require an additional signal-conditioning circuit. Therefore, the biasing circuit development overhead for thermistor solutions can be avoided by implementing this low-cost device. The voltage output pin (VOUT) can be directly connected to the ADC input of a microcontroller. The MCP9700 temperature coefficients are scaled to provide a 1 degrees C / bit resolution for an 8-bit ADC value.
The MCP9700 provide a low-cost solution for applications that require measurement of temperature. This family is immune to the effects of parasitic capacitance and can drive large capacitive loads. This provides Printed Circuit Board (PCB) layout design flexibility by enabling the device to be remotely located from the microcontroller. Adding some capacitance at the output also helps the output transient response by reducing overshoots or undershoots. However, capacitive load is not required for sensor output stability.
